When content creator and owner of Walsall Wood Tyre and Service Ltd., Nathan Taylor, put out a rallying cry for support for his ‘Race Tyre to Race Track Trade-Up’ campaign, our LKQ Academy Bodyshop technical team stepped in to support.
Nathan is on a quest to trade up a used Nürburgring Falken race tyre to a £350,000 AMG GT Black Series. So far, Nathan has managed to admirably trade the tyre up to 1970s Ford Escort Mk1, but it was in a need of a lot of work.

The expert team, led by Lee Berridge (Head of Technical and Sustainability) and Lee Smedley (Technical Development and Training Manager), embraced the challenge head on, and impressively turned the complete restoration project around from ground up in a matter of days –  a truly impressive feat! Nathan's reaction spoke a thousand words, as he was genuinely shocked by the work completed in such a short space of time!
